Hello fellow IEEEians!! It has been an incredible journey for me with IEEE for the past twenty plus years. I wish to convey my heartfelt thanks to every one of you for shaping me into what I am today.
I am truly grateful to have been a part of IEEE, meeting top calibre technologists from both academia and industry who have supported me, mentored me and helped me in my career growth and personal life. My research in assistive technology has led me to identify the needs of the community around us and using technology try to fulfill those needs. With IEEE, it has been a great opportunity for me to pursue this path of Humanitarian Technology and satisfy that passion.

Position Statement

IEEE Computer Society has been a great place for my growth and my objective is to see the sustainable development of membership, activities and technology through diversity and inclusion. Today we are living in one of the most extraordinary times which encourage human spirit to use value education to face the global challenges. IEEE Computer Society needs to adapt to the priorities on the technology ethics and the human rights in the post pandemic world.
I will continue to commit myself to support the Diversity and Inclusion efforts of the Society through increased member communication and engagement, especially for the underrepresented and underprivileged groups.  More importantly I will continue my efforts in making Computer Society lead international collaboration in the areas of training and up-skilling to encourage the interdisciplinary research through integrated chapter activities.
I am a result-oriented person and I have a long experience in heading geographic units in section, region and board level and initiating and formulating the strategic plans of each and ensuring the success of each one. I bring a long and diverse experience of founding, establishing and revitalizing IEEE geographic units in Section, Region and Committee levels, organizing and advising in International Committees like Thought Leaders of Global Marathon and Grace Hopper Celebration for Women in Computing.

I commit to:
        • Improve the diversity and inclusion efforts by strategizing the activities to address issues concerning age, culture, special needs and geography.
        • Expand the current circle of users for our technical knowledge base by encouraging people in industry to contribute to it.
        • Identify the value additions based on the diverse requirements, promote member communication and member collaboration to encourage the next generation of engineers and technologists.
        • Strengthen the fiscal processes and policies through strategic plan and framework to build a sustainable financial model.

I am proud to be a computer society member and be associated with all of you since I believe that together, we can make a positive difference. I have always been encouraged to test new ideas in IEEE and computer society has supported those ideas to bring them into successful activities. I would like to pass this on to the future engineers and technical experts so join me in those activities. Please visit https://ieeeyesist12.org/
